I'll be completely honest, I didn't really expect a lot from a camera as inexpensive as this one, but I was extremely surprised. I connected mine to a Samsung J7 smart phone to get my footage and it worked great. I don't know how well it will work with other phones, but it worked very smooth with mine. It took me no time to figure out how to use it, install the app on my phone, and start RECORDING video of the inside of my barrel. I had just gotten done trying out a new cleaning product on my barrel that I thought was doing a good job, only to find that there was a ton of gunk still hanging around inside the barrel. So, with the ability to see carbon, lead, and copper inside the barrel, as well as all kinds of nicks, gouges, and machine marks in there, I was really able to diagnose why the rifle wasn't shooting all that great. Not to mention, I can actually physically see when the inside of the barrel is completely clean, instead of just assuming it is. So, overall I was really impressed to see this thing work as well as it did. I would like to see more products with this kind of value because many times you get what you pay for, but I can tell you right now that I will never pay $200 for a bore scope. This is a must buy for someone who is considering buying a bore scope, but doesn't want to spend a ton of money on one. I definitely approve!
