This is the first irrigator I've ever used and it's not easy to use. It's not *super* complicated, but it's definitely not intuitive to use. The water rushes out so fast it hits your teeth and splashes back onto your hand, floss, sink, mirror. You also have to bend over the sink and keep your mouth open to let the water drain after the floss runs down your hand, or you might just miss the sink. So it pours water everywhere. It says it turns off automatically after 2 minutes so you don't overuse it and hurt your gums, but I never turned it off because the water in the tank doesn't last that long, even in "soft" mode. So I keep having to stop and refill the tank before I'm done with my mouth and it definitely won't happen in 2 minutes as it never stops. Either that or the 2 minute shutdown timer isn't working. I didn't time it to know for sure. It really works because my teeth feel cleaner, especially at the gum line where it can be difficult to get that super clean feeling. So it does what it should. But it's dirty and doesn't hold much water.
