Review on πŸš— Enhance Steering Stability with Monroe SC2962 Magnum Steering Damper by Dre Fowler

Tenneco/Monroe damper

Got a Tenneco steering damper. I think I would hesitate to buy this product if it was described as a Tenneco and not a Monroe. Monroe is on the packaging, but not on the damper. I see other reviews saying they got the same product and it works fine? I'm not sure of the legality of this article, but the dampener is poorly applied and updated product information is provided. Also, as many other reviews state, the nut is sticky so I put some WD 40 on the nut and threads. There will be an update soon. Edit/Update Dec 3 I did a little research and believe this product is related to Monroe or Monroe to Tenneco, but after installing the damper my steering is much stiffer and tighter. A big improvement over my old factory damper. The photo also shows that it is significantly more powerful than the factory damper. Aside from attempting to rust clean the old nuts, the installation went smoothly. Overall, I am satisfied with the product and can agree with the other positive reviews. The shoe was not included and had to be purchased separately. Installed on a 2001 WJ Laredo Jeep.
