Great product! If you don't have it, you must get it. The tailgate now lowers itself very smoothly. Nice feature as it is different from aftermarket. I recommend using a small butane microtorch to heat the back of the mounting screws to loosen the red Loctite bead. Installation took 45 minutes and I did it myself. Don't forget to disable the rear view camera before removing the tailgate and after removing the 2 screws holding the tail light, pull the assembly STRAIGHT back to remove it. There are 2 clips that you will break if you don't. Good rear passage is required to remove the taillight. It is in order. In addition, a hinge is already installed in some equipment lines from xlt. So you only need to buy one damper.
