Review on 🚲 Capstone 2 Bike Carrier Hitch Mount by Michael Schafer

I had a problem with my bike rack! busy highway and never found it. $2000 down the drain because it doesn't have a good locking system. It uses a screw that compresses a plastic sleeve and the screw has a cocking handle with a key to prevent it from opening. But if overtightened, this locking piece will tear off the plastic clips on the side of the handle. With every impact, the thick layer of down moves up until the bike crashes. The stem I had before had detent notches that didn't allow movement. Do not buy! This product design problem plus other product design problems related to the drop hole is not a good product. Not a safe product!
