Now we love this stance but don't recommend it until this error occurs.

As already mentioned, there is a fatal flaw in this design. The locking mechanism for tilting is not enough. It will back off as it moves down the street, throwing bikes all the way. VERY worrying. We bought this frame to travel from Washington State to Montana this summer and every bump on the freeway made us wince, knowing it could happen anytime after the first time. We drilled a hole in the side and now use a quick release pin so the tilt doesn't come loose on its own. With that added…

Buy this stand! in bike racks

Improved and now perfect! I just got mine and I love this hitch. This is a huge deal. Solid construction and really thoughtful design. I know there have been complaints about the sunbed's launch, but they have been addressed in this new model. I have attached an image to illustrate. The only way to pop out is to pull the tail against a very stiff spring. I will be using it with my heavy RadRover bike so I'm only carrying one bike. I was happy to see that this hitch is easy to adjust so I can…

Holds up very badly. I lost my bike on the track!

I had a problem with my bike rack! busy highway and never found it. $2000 down the drain because it doesn't have a good locking system. It uses a screw that compresses a plastic sleeve and the screw has a cocking handle with a key to prevent it from opening. But if overtightened, this locking piece will tear off the plastic clips on the side of the handle. With every impact, the thick layer of down moves up until the bike crashes. The stem I had before had detent notches that didn't allow…

The best bike rack for the money. Far away.

This is the first product in a long time that I have found really worth the price. Much more than what I paid to be honest. I've had several shelves from other manufacturers and this one is very well thought out (and at least a quarter cheaper). The packaging was excellent. The instructions were very clear and the installation only took a few minutes. A sophisticated anti-wobble mechanism. Once tightened, the post is as strong as the hitch. Including 3 locks. One for connecting the hitch and…

Good price, looks ok, very functional.

I think it's great value for money. Not as "stylish" as the expensive Thule or Kuat racks, but for a fraction of the price it gets the job done. The only thing that I think could be better is how far it protrudes from the vehicle, even when folded. Because of this, it is inconvenient for me to take it to the parking lot at my work place as there is not enough space there. The anti-sway mechanism in the hitch works well, but tightening and loosening with a fat bolt takes a little longer than…

Does the product match the seller's description?

I have bought 2 of these in the last 2 months, 1 went to my son and 1 to my daughter. Both are used on Rad Rover 70-pound e-bikes. My son and daughter have a pair of 70lb bikes, both have used the hitch to tow a 140lb combined e-bike with no problem. In my son's case, he towed the bike in 7 days of a 1600 mile vacation. I realize that's double the tow hitch's rated capacity, but so far they've held up well. The only problem is that the "coating" of the hook that holds the bike has worn off and…

Best stand I've ever had

I would give 5 stars barring two small but annoying issues. But first for the good. I bought to take my Quiet Kat FatKat bike with me. It weighs around 70 pounds and I was a bit apprehensive about finding a bike rack that could support its weight and 4.5-inch tires. Benefits1. This is an amazingly strong bike rack. Not only is it solid due to the receiver mounting screw, but also just very well made.2. It is very well designed with foldable tire platforms and various sliding components…

  • Great price
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

UPDATE: The other day I was pulled over at the intersection of a dirt road and a busy road. I had to turn left. I had to wait for a break. Dangerous Quarter. The dirt driveway was also slightly below the level of the main road, leaving about 4 inches facing the main road. I fired my Wrangler and took a sharp left into the lane. I've done that before with no problems. This time, the straps holding the bike's wheels in place failed, and the bike tires fell off the stand. The bike wobbled. I…
