Review on 🚲 Capstone 2 Bike Carrier Hitch Mount by Derek Davie

As already mentioned, there is a fatal flaw in this design. The locking mechanism for tilting is not enough. It will back off as it moves down the street, throwing bikes all the way. VERY worrying. We bought this frame to travel from Washington State to Montana this summer and every bump on the freeway made us wince, knowing it could happen anytime after the first time. We drilled a hole in the side and now use a quick release pin so the tilt doesn't come loose on its own. With that added guarantee, we love this rack, but don't recommend it until the manufacturer fixes it.
