Why didn't I know this sooner? I'm not actually a fan of cooking, but with a family of 5 I have to. This helps shorten the routine process. You know you're grown up when you like kitchen appliances. There are reviews saying it doesn't work in "sponge" pots or pans, but I've used it well with those guys. You just have to rock very slowly. It's cozy, but you want it! Otherwise there will be a mess if it fits easily because then it will also slip out easily. It will make a great gift for those who cook at least occasionally. The ONLY thing I would change or improve is the height (at the tilt for pouring). If I have a lot of food in a large pot, I have to water more slowly so that nothing spills over. But I would definitely do it again!
