Great lens to enjoy

I've been a photographer for almost 50 years. I wanted to try this lens for at least a year but was concerned about the quality. I don't mind spending money, but I hate wasting it. Well, let me tell you. I love the lens. He has an interesting quality. I can't explain it any more than it looks like my old film cameras. It may not be as sharp as some of the others I have or have had, but I don't consider sharpness to be the pinnacle of a great lens for the things I love to photograph. Different brushes for different end results. I shoot with the X-t100 and have attached some random snap shots of various subjects both near and far for your appreciation. Nothing special and most of the shots were taken almost immediately after receiving the lens. I've since added a hood and UV filter. at twice the price I would be satisfied with the lens. So why not 5 stars for 80 euros. A no-click bezel is a deal breaker for me. It's heartbreaking because I love everything else about this lens, but I'd happily pay $150 for it if it didn't have a no-click aperture ring. It's easy to move. These days I mainly shoot still subjects and can take my time, but a long time ago when I was doing street photography in New York I had to sell the lens because of a non-clicking aperture. I wouldn't mind taking it on vacations or doing all sorts of landscapes and still lifes, but... Street photography doesn't work for me because you can't set your aperture and forget about it. YMMV of course! But the only way I can reliably use this lens is by pressing the rubber band near the aperture ring. It's easy to lose even in normal shooting. For the worse. he takes good pictures! Update 3/8/21 I sold the lens. I LOVE the images it produces, but the aperture ring just dangled. I would set it up for photography and still find it distorted in one way or another. Maybe that's not a problem for some, but for me it was a deal breaker. I have a 7 Artisans 60mm which has MUCH better damping on both the aperture ring and focus ring. Might be hit or miss with quality control though. If I did it again I could try 7 artisans at this focal length.
