For the money - happy with the purchase. I wanted a pan that I could sear a steak in and have grill marks on it (because I don't actually use the grill). And the best part is that it is very easy to clean. It came with the handle off but came with a small screwdriver so I didn't have to hunt for tools. It came together very easily. I felt it warmed up evenly. I have a ceramic hob and sometimes some cookware doesn't work well, but this one works on a ceramic hob. And bonus: I love the color purple, and the pan is purple :) I'm not a chef, but I cook every day and this pan will probably be the pan I pull out for meat. I've bought more expensive cookware but so far this pan does what I want and so far it's easy to clean! (and the cleaning part is the most important part for me because I hate washing pans). It's so easy to clean that I wouldn't even bother washing it in the dishwasher (although I'm assuming you don't wash it in the dishwasher).
