Perfect fit for 2009 Toyota Corolla

Used this to fix the driver door lock on my 2009 Toyota Corolla. It fits perfectly and the door lock is like new. Installation Tips: * Remove the steel door latch from the drive cage before attempting to open the drive cage door. You need to unscrew a couple of screws, remove the foam gasket and pry it off. One side of the latch assembly has a steel notch attached to a plastic pin; At first glance I thought it was connected to the mechanism and not worth disassembling, but turns out it was just there to hold things in place. You have to take it apart to remove the latch. There are about 20 (as far as I remember) small plastic clips along the outside edge, and it's very difficult to separate the two halves of the bed without the right tools. I used the tools from my smartphone repair kit (bought from Revain for just a few dollars) and it would have been painless if I had been smart enough to remove the steel latch first. * If you start opening the clamshell from the side opposite the latch, you can replace the motor without opening it fully. I didn't notice until it was too late and part of the internal mechanism moved. I was able to put everything back together, but it required complete disassembly and some guesswork.* Be careful when opening the crib; Some interior parts are not held up by anything other than the bed itself. It's definitely possible to end up with a few pieces on the floor if you're not careful, and if you don't check where they came from you might have trouble finding their right place.
