16 qt. When I first used the product, the pot got chips on the bottom. I followed the directions that came with the pot and was surprised to see small chips on the bottom. I have stainless steel pans that I bought 20 years ago and have never had a problem. I also bought an 8 liter jar from the same company which works great - no problems so far. Should be materials in 16 quarts. pan that is different. The good news is that the company offers great customer service. I wrote to the company about my problem and got an answer the next day! They offered to replace the pot. I hope there are no further problems. UPDATE: After replacing the pot, there were no more problems. The company recommends seasoning the pots, which I consider a chore since washing the pot with detergent requires reseasoning, but it helps extend the life of the product. In general, the product is satisfied, hence 5 stars.
