I'm new to the Live Clean line of products. This was my very first and probably last order from this brand. Now that I'm in my 40's it seems like my childhood eczema has returned with a vengeance. It stinks of chaos on my face, arms and hands. Constant hand washing due to COVID-19 is not helping the cause. I've spent quite a bit of time looking for a hand soap that isn't too harsh on my skin. I was so excited to find this product that I ordered 5 bottles. One for every bathroom and kitchen. I figured I'd order more if the product didn't aggravate my skin. Today I got a great moisturizing hand wash that I was hoping for, without all the chemical additives that my skin can't take anymore. What I got was a box full of clutter! I realized this was bad when I picked up the box and the side of it was wet. I opened it and found soap everywhere. including on another product I ordered! There was no bubble wrap, plastic bubble wrap, paper or anything else inside the box to prevent the products from moving during shipping. NO SURPRISE I HAVE THIS MASS BOX! The hand soap could roll and bang freely in the box! Also, while trying to clean up, I discovered that while Revain packaged the product in plastic bags, it wasn't shrink-wrapped. Two pumps pierced the pockets. A bottle was almost empty. The other was about half done. Upon closer inspection, I found that the Live Clean's plastic seal fitted around the pump was not airtight and did not extend the bottle. The seal stopped at the neck of the bottle where you open it. The caps of four bottles were very loose. The fifth bottle, almost empty, had the cap removed but part of the pump was inside the bottle. Of course, one of the three bottles Revane had placed around her had been punctured. People spit, cough, and do other unimaginable things to both food and other people. Just in case, I threw the whole box and its contents in a garbage bag and threw it in the bin. I just don't want to risk it. As always, Revain was great at giving me a refund for the soap and other products in the box. But I really need soap! I've told the Revain rep that I'm considering re-ordering, but I'm afraid the same will happen. She offered to track my next order and call me directly to check the status if I decide to reorder. I don't know what to do. There was another brand I wanted to try if that one didn't work. . But I couldn't really try it to decide if it would help my dry hands or not. On the plus side. The box smelled really good. I'll sit down and calmly decide what to do. . I don't want to make a decision based on anger. That was NOT a good first impression of "Live Clean". The first impression lasts forever! **Update: I've decided to try Live Clean again. hand soap. 4 out of 5 caps were very loose again! One of the bottles had a leak, which was contained by the plastic bag Revain had placed the bottle in. The manufacturer's seal on all 5 bottles seals the pump again only up to the neck. a bottle that could instead be easily opened if it encased the entire bottle. Luckily I ordered a large bottle of condiment along with my hand soap due to better shipping packaging and also replaced another item that was damaged in yesterday's delivery. It wasn't pushed so much that the covers wouldn't come off completely in transit. This time there were no holes in the bags from the pumps placed by Revain. Clean hand soap, they need to rethink their packaging and make sure the bottle caps are tight! At the end of the assembly line, maybe add a quality control person to inspect the bottles. Cross your fingers and "hope" my order is intact every time I order more bottles (if I happen to like the product). It's just not worth the hassle. Soap is too important to have at home. Especially now! I'm sorry, LiveClean. But I won't become a regular customer.
