You get what you pay for...

I should have spent a little more money and bought a different camera. Motion detection is triggered when a cat walks across the target area or the wind blows something across the screen, but doesn't detect people about 1/4 of the time. Not to mention hellish delays or delays. Most of the time people are at the door before she starts recording so my alarm has a good picture of the yard and their heads and nothing else. Also, the camera moves around itself. I logged into the app and the camera is pointing in a different direction than where I left it. The picture is quite clear even for a 2 megapixel camera. Trying to share the device with someone else was pretty easy once I was able to decipher how they set it up (not the best design). It has pretty good range and good PTZ (as long as it doesn't freeze or lag). I don't think the WiFi range is as good as they say. The camera is mounted on a 1 1/2 inch wall and the router is on the other side of the wall and 10 feet away. Far away, but still limping and very variable. The solar panel holds the battery well. In addition, the camera mount made it very easy to install, but also very easy for someone else to take it off. The app could use a lot of improvements. Not only does the layout of the app make no sense, the selection of settings also leaves a lot to be desired. My neighbor has a Reolink camera that works much more efficiently. I should have spent the extra $30 and gotten a better camera. Now I will probably take Reolink anyway and give it to my uncle….

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • The list will go on.
