Review on 🏌️ Golf Buddy Voice 2: Long Lasting Battery Golf Distance Range Finder with Talking GPS and Easy-to-use Navigation for Hat by Matthew Augustin

I don't write many reviews but feel compelled to write this review to clear up some misunderstandings which are clearly due to operator error. First, several people have complained that the device is inaccurate, that it constantly underestimates mileage. mmm This only seems true because the device displays distance in meters, not yards. (I accidentally changed units myself a few times, but realized my mistake.) I found the battery life to be excellent. I can easily use 8 hours on a single charge. My guess is that those with poor battery life either have a bad micro USB cable (who ever thought micro USB was good!?) or a faulty charger. I could also improve my battery life since I don't use voice. Another complaint is that if you go over a tee or hit the wrong fairway it sometimes shows the wrong hole and there is no way to fix this. The instrument displays the hole it is reading and it's actually very easy to change the holes displayed - read the instructions before you complain! I've had this device for about 2 years now and played hundreds of rounds with no problems. It's very accurate compared to my range finder, which I now only use on unfamiliar trails to determine distance to hazards. GPS has limitations: like all GPS devices, it reads in a straight line, so severe curves are underestimated, and this GPS has no hazard removal feature. This GPS will definitely speed up the game as it continuously measures distance as you move. So unlike a range finder there is no stop, press a button and wait for the distance to change. While I don't use this feature, it's worth noting that you can also measure the distance of shots after they're fired. It's a simple device, but what it does it does well.
