Great price for a capacitor with such a high farad coefficient! 8 farads provide reliable protection for your vehicle's charging system. Installed in my 2018 Ford F-150 with a 1000w JBL 5ch amp and a 400w mono kicker subwoofer amp. Was very easy to install and charge for the first time with the included resistor, has well made +/- terminals for connecting wires and a very accurate voltage gauge to see the voltage state of charge of the capacitors. To hit a ceiling of 8 farads, that's not very much! Good design. Even though the truck has a powerful AGM battery and a powerful DC generator, I still wanted to protect all of my truck's high-tech electrical systems. Not only does it prevent the light from flickering/dimming when playing loud music. It also gives my amps an extra power boost, making my audio system sound even more powerful than without the condenser. My truck is equipped with a large 8" interactive touchscreen radio display, so I didn't want to damage the system. I can turn my system on very loud and not worry about my headlights dimming or the sound quality degrading. When buying a capacitor you really need to do your research as there are so many cheap nameless brands out there that don't really do anything good, just harm your audio gear! If you're not careful, you can actually damage your hardware and do more harm than good. For the price you can't go wrong and good advice is to always choose capacitors that are larger than the Farad rating so you help and don't damage your audio equipment.
