I love that this 3 liter jug has a really secure lid and is so easy to clean! The lid is really great; There are two flanges on each side that the cover hooks onto, making it very secure. The nose is securely fixed; If you have problems with your hands, it may be impossible to open them. But I wanted two 3 liter jugs that would fit in my fridge door. This jug has a narrow (long and narrow) foot, which I see would be an advantage in some situations, but unfortunately not for me. Two of them don't fit in the fridge door. In fact, with a pitcher, there isn't much room in this room. It would be great if the manufacturer made a jug in the same style but more square! Only then will it be "refrigerator-proof”!
