Anyone who thinks that this hose is suitable for a vacuum cleaner in the shop is right and wrong. This is NOT a hose to be used as a garbage disposal tool - you will need to buy a much more flexible hose for that and if you READ the description you will see that this use is not mentioned anywhere but is called the use of air ducts. It's made to move between two stationary points, doesn't move regularly, it's more rigid than that. I've used it between a shop vacuum and a cyclone separator above it. Using this duct as an air duct is where it shines, it is not and is not advertised as a suction hose. It is designed to compress to a minimum length when used as intended, so it will not compress itself and wobble or sag. everywhere, everywhere, everywhere. The ends must therefore be secured well and not just glued. This is the case when finding the right tool for the job at hand can only be found by understanding what kind of job the tool is actually intended for. DO NOT buy this if you are looking to replace your shop vacuum hose - buy something made for this purpose, buy this if you need to run a high volume, low pressure, semi-permanent duct.
