Those lint and fibers are shedding like crazy! I had to shovel huge pieces out of the washing machine. Another reviewer claimed they damaged her car, but that didn't happen to me. And then in the dryer I periodically stopped it to clean the filter from lint, and a couple of times I had to remove large pieces from the filter before drying. I'm not exaggerating when I say BIG chunks. They looked like big balls. I am posting a photo so you can see what I mean. They also smelled strongly of musty burlap when they arrived in the mail, so there was no way I would put them on my table where my family dines without washing them first. I gave them two stars because they don't wrinkle in the wash, fit nice and snug and the smell is gone so I think I can still use them. But I had to deduct a few stars for hair loss and the fringes were torn from washing. I plan on cutting off the fringes and reinforcing the edges on the sewing machine. I will also wash them separately for a while until they stop shedding.
