Review on 🚗 Tekonsha P3 Brake Control + Wiring Harness for Toyota 4Runner, Landcruiser, Sequoia, Tundra, Tacoma & Lexus LX570, GX460, LX470, GX470 - Controller + Plug-and-Play Wire Kit by Jason Melvin

Here are some pictures of my 2012 Tundra setup. Quick and easy. Looks good. A little close to the parking brake. But I can achieve it. My only criticism was that nowhere in the instructions did it explain what the white wire was for or where it was supposed to be installed. I assumed it was for Earth, and I was right. I also found a video showing the installer installing it using one of the sheet metal screws provided and mounting it on a flat piece of metal just above the seat belt attachment point. I installed mine behind a panel behind the door hinge. There's a group of other wires there that appear to be grounded, so I just removed the bold, added my own wire, and re-tightened the screw. Then I stuck the wire in and pulled it up and back. To finish this off I tied two wires (one wire and one wire harness from the wire harness) to the underside of the hood release lever area. Now it's time to go hiking!
