Review on OXO Good Grips Silicone Measuring Cup Set - 3 Piece Squeeze & Pour by Danielle Aycock

I need more of this! I have several Pyrex measuring jars and I hate that the spout is so shallow they spill everywhere and take up a ton of space in my drawer. I bought this Oxo Good Holds 4 cup measuring cup (it's the most versatile size) and haven't used my other measuring cups since! It's perfect for heating water in the microwave for bread dough, and I reach for it several times a day (I test recipes, so I cook a lot). More importantly, it spills without dripping all over the countertop! All round a fantastic addition to my kitchen arsenal! My tiny kitchen only has room for the very best. I just don't have the space or patience for inferior products anymore (see you later, Pyrex measuring cups!) Highly recommend! UPDATE: Some reviews mentioned inaccuracies, so I decided to test all four of my oxo silicone measuring cups. against my lab beaker, so the accuracy of the primary measurement is undisputed. The deviation is given in milliliters. For reference, a scoop in the US is 15ml. Please see my attached photos. 10ml/120 Please note that these measurements refer to the ones I have. Maybe they are a bit different, which would actually be even more disappointing! For some recipes, these inaccuracies may not be significant. For others, this can make a big difference. I still love them for their flexibility and ease of pouring. I just wish there was more emphasis on accuracy. If they were accurate, they would replace all other measuring cups and pitchers in my kitchen. Anyway I will continue to use them for transferring liquids from one vessel to another which is why I bought them in the first place. They're especially good for making dressings in a food processor or blender so you can add oil slowly. I don't use them as primary measuring cups (that's why I have Culinary Institute measuring cups and spoons and my lab beaker. But Oxo missed the boat. These might be the best measuring cups ever. Flexibility with pouring and funnels and that fact they can be used, for heating liquids, melting butter and coconut oil in the microwave, etc. is second to none. If only these measuring cups could actually measure! I think my reviews help filter out the crap for other like-minded shoppers who are after the same products as me :) It's nice to see that my kitchen rush has helped another buyer.
