This nozzle was purchased to replace an 11 year old original head that was not retaining jet/spray shape and was reducing the jet due to mineral deposits. Although the head looks the same as the original and is a Kohler branded replacement, it is not of the same quality. The original head was solid brass with a brushed stainless steel finish. It appears to be plastic with stainless steel. While they look and function the same, the new head is lighter and I don't expect the finish to be as durable. In fact, there was a small scratch on the box exposing the white plastic underneath.
