Review on Edimax 300Mbps Wireless EW 7612PIn V2 by William Dean
Only 10% faster than advertised.
It advertises 300Mbps, but my speed tests show otherwise. I only get 20-30 Mbps with this card. I have a gigabit internet connection with a high-end router. My new MacBook Pro gets 600Mbps over my Wi-Fi, so it's definitely that wireless card. These speeds are slow enough to cause noticeable lag when playing online games. I would not recommend that.
