⚡🤦🌪🤦⚡ BUYER ATTENTION! ⚡🤦🌪🤦⚡ Nothing against the seller but this beeswax is fake. If I had known it was "Made in China" before I bought it, I would not have bought it. Unfortunately, for honey and beeswax, China sells fake bee products (expansion and info below). This is not a dig at China or its products as I buy a lot of products from China/Made in China and I usually get more products that are just good than crap but this product will never be one of the positive products/products. And here's why: When the terrible tragic fires swept Australia, they lost most (if not all) of their honey supplies and unfortunately their honey bees (we just found out more about the mammals/marsupials that have been killed or seriously harmed by bees) and Australia has been forced to look to other countries to help to replenish his honey supplies. China was 1 source and US was the other source (not sure if other countries were involved but for the information below I'm using the 2 countries listed in the articles/videos I've read/seen). Most items/products are from China. You can get more bang for your buck, but sometimes it happens by accident, but when Australia received its honey from China and the US, the amount from China far exceeded the norm and sounded the alarm, so they sent a sample from each batch received from China and the results returned as each batch contained a small amount of honey (for color and flavor) but the rest was designed by Sugar Water to be the same viscosity as honey . After Australia did so, the US followed suit and achieved the same results. Unfortunately, beeswax from China is no different. In fact, it might even be worse than the honey situation. The first red flag that caught my eye was how yellow the beeswax pellets were. It was bright yellow/orange! This made me think maybe some coloring was added but I still gave them the benefit of the doubt, I received my package already opened (luckily it had a resealable lid, which was closed but that was disappointing even though it was open). 2. Red Flag: Beeswax smells like honey, sometimes very light/sometimes very noticeable. This beeswax had no odor, not even a hint of odor. Third Warning: If you take a small piece of REAL beeswax, be it a block or a pellet, roll it between your fingers, your body heat will soften it, making it flexible and pliable. This beeswax never softened in the slightest, it fell apart which is a HUGE RED FLAG OF FAKE BEESWAX. This seller's description as well as the bag says it's 100% natural. I can say unequivocally that the only thing that is 100% true about this product is that it is 100% COUNTERFEIT. Needless to say, that this product was returned and I RARELY IF EVER leave negative reviews but I was so upset I spent $18 on beeswax which, when it finally arrived it was open and fake rendering it useless what meant I had to re-order the beeswax elsewhere which delayed my project.
