Lids don't fit household items well

I use these to brew tea with additives and they are perfect for me. I have "kuzi" for mugs so I just use the pen. I don't take the cup by the lid. The lids don't "click" very tightly. They seem to sit on top with a slight fixation. If you take it by the lid, it comes off. I have washed and reused the mugs and they have held up well.
