Perfect for Hard Cider

These are dandy and they fit perfectly in a standard glass pitcher. It's really very annoying that the product photo shows them upside down and backwards. Don't install them that way, they won't work. I've used them to make delicious apple cider and they worked great. Sterilize them by gently boiling them in a pot of filtered water for a minute. If you're a professional brewer, you might want a fancy silicone and glass version, or those weird metal gates that brewers use. This small rubber and plastic airlock is ideal for amateurs.
