What can I say? does the job. The stopper fits perfectly. The gate is sealed. I normally prefer glass over plastic in every way, but here I appreciate plastic because I can firmly push the cap or pull out of the stopper without worrying about breaking the fragile glass. All in all not bad.

Bah you know this gate is broken. Air can get into the wine/fermenter through the rubber stopper. The shaft that connects to the rubber stopper is not smooth. The seam protrudes, so the seal is not sufficient. This allows a small amount of air to constantly flow into your fermenter.

They are pretty hard to get hold of in my 1 liter jar, I made sure the area was dry but the cork still wants to jump out. I write it down if I have to, but I feel like I don't have to. Overall, this should be better than the plastic screw I used, which quickly lost its tightness.

I've had trouble finding stoppers and locks for 1 gallon jugs. I prefer the hollow ones because they seem to stick better (probably because they're a bit big and the one I started with was flexible), but they fit gallon jugs perfectly and stay closed. These are the best I've used for gallon jugs, I highly recommend them.

Due to the recent pandemic and the isolation of the healthy, the school was closed, forcing me to study at home. Because of this, my teacher stopped smelling my breath and sent me to the principal! It's hard to get a work permit in a high school, even if I could find a minimum-wage slave job these days. At those rates, not only can I be happy, but I earn enough taxes to pay for college. On a whim I decided to try making blackberry wine from berries in my garden. The process had to be cheap and easy. I was originally going to use the bottle for my growler after the primary fermentation, but it was such a great price for 3 of them that I decided to up my game. They fit perfectly in Growler and Bubble. My recipe cooked more than I expected so all 3 were used. I recommend this for beginners using winemaker!

These are dandy and they fit perfectly in a standard glass pitcher. It's really very annoying that the product photo shows them upside down and backwards. Don't install them that way, they won't work. I've used them to make delicious apple cider and they worked great. Sterilize them by gently boiling them in a pot of filtered water for a minute.
