Used this pan once and it's already garbage. When I received it, I read the instructions, washed and oiled it as directed. I toasted a few burgers in it over medium heat that didn't even reach 200 degrees (I have an infrared thermometer). I checked because the instructions say not to overheat the pan and the optimum cooking temperature is actually 300 degrees. I added the pasta sauce and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. I let the pan cool completely (several hours) and then added water and some dish soap and let it soak for a bit. I noticed this stain on the photos while washing. It looked like a dried water or salt stain and I tried to remove it but it wouldn't come off. Then I looked closely and noticed that the ceramic coating had peeled off! A huge chunk of the cover came off and I have no idea where it went. Was it one big piece or was it broken into many smaller pieces? Did I eat it or is it still in the leftovers? I can't believe this happened. Don't buy that crappy crockery.
