Review on Motorcraft FT172 Transmission Filter by Deonte Bates

This filter is installed in the 6F50 transmission and can only be replaced when the transmission is overhauled. There is no pan on the underside of this transmission that can be removed to access the filter like on the pre 2004 Taurus. I was hoping to replace the filter on a 2008 Taurus like a 1998 Taurus/Sable but this Design is completely different. This purchase and the seal were easy to return to Revain. I also like how Revain can tell which parts go with which cars. Five star service from Revain.
