These shoes give my wife tremendous relief from severely collapsed arches. Along with the orthotics, this shoe gives her the cushioning, arch and toe support she needs. They work better than other brands advertised as rollators. She's tried other big brands but they don't work either. She just needs them. She changes them from storage every 6 months. After 6 months they still look like new, but severe flat feet affect the cushioning of the sole. This is not a trick. The midsole looks good, but the closed-cell foam loses resilience with wear. If you pay attention to wear and tear, you will find out when your feet and calves start to suffer. Once you know your frequency, you can take your shoes out of service before the pain sets in. We donate shoes to a local care group that helps those in need. For people without a sunken arch, shoes still have PLENTY of life. We buy three pairs at a time and change them every three days. Very well built!
