I chose this tester to replace an old analog tester that I have been using for many years. I originally bought a digital tester at one of the hardware stores but returned it without even opening it after spotting this tester at Revain. First was the price, $90 versus $50. Second, this tester works with POE connections. A tester that offers this feature from another company costs over $300. At only $50, this is the perfect tester for the home user. If your business relies on this type of tester for day-to-day use, a $300 device might be a better fit. In addition, there were several reviews that complained about the accuracy of the cable length function. If you look at the specs, it says an accuracy of plus or minus 1.6 meters.
