The groove on each side of the item is sloppy not to mention the fill of paint making it unsuitable for holding any size chisel. Haven't tried putting a planer blade in it yet, but seeing the slot for the chisel doesn't hold my hopes up. It's definitely a "you get what you pay for" clause. I'll bet $7.50 so you don't have to. Avoid this thing if you want it to go chisel. In fact, I would advise you not to buy it, period. It's rinky dink from top to bottom. I'm very glad I learned to sharpen by hand.
