This Straight Wire Radar Detector Power Cord is great! Very easy to install and saves money! I used to have to go to my local Custom Auto Shop (EAS) here in Colorado Springs to install the radar detector wiring for my cars. But that was BEFORE I knew about this product. They charged $80 for a job that took me 5 minutes! For most cars and trucks you just need to select the correct size wire (pins) from the set of three they will send you for your particular rearview mirror connector. . You just need to find power and ground and connect carefully to the back of the mirror wiring harness (see included instructions) for most newer model cars. I didn't need 2 minutes. Pros: - Easy install - Cheaper - Professional look (no dangling cords) Cons: - Smaller black zip ties recommended (and a few more included - (3) included) Overall a great product. It saves you money and time and gives your car a professional and clean look. Stop paying $60 or even $80 to "individual" car dealerships to do something this simple.
