Review on LG Electronics BP530 Wi-Fi Enabled 3D Blu-ray Disc Player (2013 Model) by Hector Smith

I bought this player to replace an old LG player that broke this week. I used it a lot more for media streaming. (I've used the tuner on my computer to store network broadcasts in HD and use the player to stream to rooms where I don't have room for a Blu-ray player and cable). This model required a media server to be installed on the computer, which was not necessary on my older model. At first I was very disappointed with the streaming. It took a very long time to read the files on the computer and there was another long delay before the video played. I switched from the media server that came with the device to another one I downloaded. After that, it quickly read the subdirectories and quickly started playing. I didn't have enough time to judge Blu-ray movie viewing. I had a movie that wouldn't play on the old player. I tested this on this one and it played without any difficulties. I've only had it on for about half an hour, so I can't comment on the issue of some movies stopping mid-play. Menu. This shows the full menu.
