Review on Airaid 401 226 SynthaMax Filter Intake by Sean Maile

Early scheduled service resulted in a fairly dirty stock air filter (normal big city traffic) Looking at normal intake airflow - air is drawn in far down what the dirty air filter explained (mainly sucks the streets). This setting allows the air to flow just below the level of the hood, where it becomes cleaner. The only downside is that you have to move the air intake sensor from your original air filter housing to this housing. (2 bolts) It was nice to be able to buy a matching intake sensor to keep the original hardware unchanged - a little research showed this to be easier said than done as this part seems to be available from multiple manufacturers.
