Review on LG 34UM88C-P 34 Inch UltraWide 3440X1440P Monitor with Screen Split 2.0, OnScreen Control, Flicker Safe, AMD FreeSync™ Technology by Jesse Clayton

I can't go back for less.

I previously had a 34UC98 and loved the curve for that immersive IMAX theater and gaming experience. The only reason I got this was for the flat viewing angle and lack of distortion needed for graphics work. That being said, there aren't many monitors to fall back on based on my 1440p ULTRAWIDE experience. For work: The workspace you get at just 1440p is quite large, but adding the width of the 3440 ultra-wide is a total game. changer. The amount of webpages, specs, lists, graphs and videos you can juxtapose for multitasking and comparison is so efficient and absolutely essential for anyone trying to maximize their workflow. Image quality is excellent and colors are accurate enough for my work as a graphic artist and web developer. For fun: Stunning graphics, as always from LG, and wider viewing angles and fields of view in most games are now a huge benefit and add to the overall immersion. Response times are decent and Freesync helps smooth faster games for AMD users. Even without FreeSync, I'd say for the price it's a great addition to any PC station. The monitor sits on my desk looking sleek thanks to its brushed metal stand, and the adjustable height and rotation help me easily adjust it depending on what I'm doing. on PC. As a long time user of LG monitors and TVs none of them have ever given me any problems, they have been very reliable and have always offered amazing value for money - this monitor is no different!
