Our family is outdoor fanatics! All of our free time consists of outdoor activities, especially trips to state and national parks. We love sharing these adventures with our children and grandchildren. Hiking is an important part of these trips, and exploring nature is key to success. We encourage our children to look at leaves, bugs, trees, flowers, paw prints, etc. I really thought the explorer's belt would be a really good tool for our kids. This little safari belt is more for role play than real adventure. It is made of very cheap plastic and has a very limited range. Essentially, the strap contains a foldable magnifying glass and a "protective storage box" that holds small note cards. It also includes a small self-adhesive footprint piece. I was a bit disappointed with the quality of this set and would recommend it best for roleplaying.
