Let me start by saying that I have been keeping parrots since the early 80's and have even worked for vets who were bird specialists so I have some experience and knowledge and I am trying to share it if possible. This is not a suitable toy for birds larger than, for example, an average kennel. It's too easily destroyed by larger birds and (even worse) potentially dangerous. For example, I don't want Leonard (a gray African) to have this bell. Or tear off a giant piece of paper and maybe try to swallow it. However, this was an absolute favorite of Bindi, who is a very small kennel and does not chew aggressively. She manages to last about two months before a replacement is needed and is clearly delighted to see me preparing a new one for installation.
