Don't do it - Toys

So few. Far from the product I thought I would buy. It looks a lot bigger in the photos and it's painted and it's an abomination.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Can't remember

Good bird buy

I like this bird toy. Too bad my bird doesn't pay attention to it. I thought she would be keen, but not yet. I'll keep him in the cage for a few more weeks and maybe try again later. Either way, it's a pretty good deal and appears to be well made. Nice toy.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • The string is shorter than others

NOTHING FOR AFRICANS GRAY!

Supposedly for gray parrots. When I received it it was much smaller than I expected. After playing with it for about an hour, my bird got hurt by this toy. Something pierced his palate. If I hadn't noticed and taken him to the vet immediately, he might have died!

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Exchange possible

Give my Petey something to do!

I'm African gray in color and I'm afraid of getting bored when I'm not at home. Petey loves this toy. He works on chewing on pieces of wood and LOVES to pull out pieces of paper one at a time. The toy is a little pricey, but well worth it if Petey keeps the boredom at bay. I'll buy another one when it sees its last days.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Budgie Must Have: Toy

It took my budgie a while to get used to it but it eventually became her favorite toy which she has to play with every time I take him for a walk. When I first got it, I made sure to run my fingers over the shredded paper part and cut off the parts that were twisted in a circle so it wouldn't get stuck in my head in the future, and it also strictly controls this, but now, a few months later. to have it and see how she likes it. I'm glad I bought it and feel comfortable playing it alone

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

I would add a photo but the birds love it so much.

Bonka toys are our rescue birds' all-time favorite. This collecting star is loved by budgerigars, Australian grasslands (much larger than a finch, almost like a parrot), lovebirds and kennels. I think the cockatiel will like it too, but she's more of a shy bird. First come the shredded pieces, then the sisal. Birds jump from above, hang on it and grab it with their feet. The bell is intriguing, as is the cracker inside the bell. I have this in my subscription and am saving it so it can be…

NOT FOR BIG BIRDS!

Let me start by saying that I have been keeping parrots since the early 80's and have even worked for vets who were bird specialists so I have some experience and knowledge and I am trying to share it if possible. This is not a suitable toy for birds larger than, for example, an average kennel. It's too easily destroyed by larger birds and (even worse) potentially dangerous. For example, I don't want Leonard (a gray African) to have this bell. Or tear off a giant piece of paper and maybe try to

  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Available in White Only

Much smaller than the photo

The photo shows a yellow wine ball in the center which is much larger than what they ship in the opaque bag. The actual toy is a small simple vine ball half the size of the ball shown in the picture. The toy is meaningless without the central ball pictured. I have ordered this toy twice and it has never been as pictured. They replace a simpler, smaller toy. I'm not sure Revain is aware that the toy in the sealed opaque bag with the UPC label isn't as big and colorful as the photo. The last time

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

The only thing I don't like about this toy is the imprecise description ("FORAGING STAR BIRD TOY, parrot cage, toys, cages, choppers, cockatiel, African Grey"). The toy is described as suitable for a Gray African and was slightly smaller than intended. The biggest concern, however, is the attached call. It was too small, fragile and actually dangerous for my Timne and Congo Grays (and possibly kennel and other parrots of the same size). This is a hazard for parrots of this size as their strong…
