Review on 🍡 Gibson Alderton 2.3 Quart Green Tea Kettle by Colin Zilinskas

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good buy for the price

In general, I really like this teapot. This is the first teapot I have ever had and didn't know what to look for or what to expect in a teapot. It was slightly larger than it looks in the picture but still looks good on my stovetop. I don't fill it all the way (I only brew coffee for one) and it boils very quickly. The whistling is clear and I can hear it from the next room. The spout gets hot, but I can easily grab a kitchen towel and open the spout with it - it's not that uncomfortable. My biggest complaint is that after a few weeks I've noticed rust spots on the inside of the kettle, but I've read that this is fairly common and easy to prevent if you know what you're doing (which I obviously didn't know at first) . !). Just be sure to pour any excess water out of the kettle after use. I think this is a great purchase for the price.
