The thing burned out after a short time. I bought this as a heater for my water change tank for my reef aquarium. To make water I use a coarse 32 gallon trash can. I usually do water twice a month so this thing gets used maybe 5-6 days a month. Tonight I went to my tank room and the pump feeding the water change tank was off. After checking, I found that the GFCI powering it was working. I disconnected a few things and reconnected one at a time after the factory reset and when I plugged in the heater I got quite a bit of noise. I took it out of the container and saw that it was filled with water and burned. I'm glad I only trusted this to my water changer and not my aquarium.
