I wanted something where my cat wouldn't fall over and steal decorations all night. I tested the ceramic trees at Revain and I love this tree. It was offered in two sizes. 10" and 15". I bought the 15 inch size. It arrived two days before the promised delivery date. It arrived in a styrofoam protected box. The box is suitable for storing wood when not in use. I couldn't wait to exhibit it. It came with a clear star. The package included a clear plastic tube that was inserted into the hole in the top of the tree where the star goes. The tube ensures a tight fit and keeps the star from swinging and the cat from knocking can it from the top of the tree and hides god knows where with the rest of its hidden treasures. No tube, the star snaps in. There were also three extra bulbs in the pack. My bulbs were glued in place so not sure like I would get one out if it broke. The tree has a beautiful coloring. Two shades of green. Lots of lights. Looks great at night when it's light. The star appears to reflect light only at the edges. If I hadn't used the tube, the star could shine brighter. d on the switch for more convenience. The tree comes with a 7.5w night light which does a great job of lighting bulbs. I thought about buying a stronger one but I checked the free instructions and they said not to use the stronger power. At the base of the tree are hand drawn wrapped Christmas gifts. I am very happy with my ceramic tree. I'm happy to report that my cat wasn't concerned about this or even pretended to be the least bit curious. All in all I would say that I love wood and think I made the right choice in purchasing it.
