It would be nice if the batteries worked. But most of the batteries I received are dead. I suspect they've been on the shelf for a long time. Since this point is made by Revane, I assumed this could not be. I guess I was wrong. Please note that batteries are packaged with the shiny positive side (flat side) facing out. You can only see the negative side showing age AFTER you open the package. I should have been on guard when I noticed that the usual expiration date you normally see on batteries was not present on this packaging. Another clue should have been the lack of changes to the packaging or description of this item in recent years. He was on my wish list. Most likely, you will receive a battery that has been sitting on a shelf with dead batteries for a long time. I know I won't be buying any more Revain batteries unless they have an expiration date.
