Connected to the main battery positive terminal, the bracket has a reliable ground. Spin it clockwise at 2,000 rpm at idle and 2,800 rpm at full speed. Regardless of the level or voltage of the battery, the alternator will not power or charge. Very disappointed as I had to custom assemble my tractor and now have to order something else to use as I don't have time to return, wait for them to process and ship another one. I called the company that did this and got a round robin redirect followed by a dead end voicemail box and no one answered my call. Will update when I get the 2nd.
