Review on Bushnell PowerView 2 Binoculars_20X50_PWV2050 Grey by Autumn Harris

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Bushnell wins in magnification, Vortex wins in clarity

I have to say they have a good zoom, good strength, good weight and don't feel cheap. However, I also have a Vortex Diamondback HD 12x50 and I would still choose Vortex as my main camera. That's why, Clarity. Vortex's clarity surpasses these Bushnells. I am an avid hunter and clarity is everything. You can see HD clarity in Vortex that you can't see at these higher Bushnell magnifications. Sometimes it's not just the zoom that matters, it's the ability to see detail through the lenses and although they have higher magnification than the Vortex 12x50, detail is a little less sharp on the Bushnell. However, if you want something under $100 with really good magnification and decent clarity, and don't mind a larger size, these Bushnells are definitely worth it. I do not regret this purchase.

Pros
  • EASY TO USE AND SECURE GRIP: Updated ergonomics with soft-touch rubber and texture for a comfortable grip on the binoculars' sides and bridge, reducing the risk of falls and providing a sure hand Feeling…. even with one hand.
Cons
  • Big and chunky
