Review on 🧪 Apera Instruments AI311 Premium pH Pocket Tester Kit: Waterproof, with Replaceable Probe for ±0.01 pH Accuracy by Andrea Sweet

I've been using this meter for about a month - it's not perfect but overall I'm quite happy with it. PROS: Overall, this counter works well. I compared its readings with those of other counters and was satisfied. It is very easy to use and calibration is quick and easy. I also love that it can be submerged in water! CONS: I've found that the readings can be stable after a minute or so (you get a smiley face icon) but if I move the counter it starts to change again and settles to a new (usually smaller) value . I can go through a few cycles of it (mix, wait for it to stabilize, mix, wait for it to stabilize) before it finally settles to a value and always returns to it. If I leave the meter in the sample for 5-10 minutes it still seems to reach this value - I would recommend this course of action. Also not enthusiastic about the tiny solutions that are provided, especially the storage solution. Every time I use the meter I lose a drop or two of that amount (simply by rinsing it in deionized solution first) so it's basically gone already. Ordering replacement solutions for storage and calibration costs $10-$25 depending on bottle size.
