For about the same price you can get a filter housing with brass or stainless steel threaded inserts, which are much more durable. Also, I suspect, at least on the device I received, that the diameter of the threaded portion of the holes was too large to fit snugly on the male ends of the tubes. I wrapped the ends of the tubes with teflon tape, which seemed sufficient to me, about 6-8 turns. But when I screwed in the ends of the tubes, they were against the body and still not tightened. I ended up damaging the case threads and had to throw the entire case away. If you use this body (instead of getting a body with threaded metal inserts), at the very least, wrap the insert ends of the fittings with about a dozen turns of Teflon tape, being careful not to over-tighten the tubes in the holes. I ended up buying a couple of Watts Premier cases and found them to be of a much higher quality.
