Review on High-Performance Monroe OESpectrum 37147 Shock Absorber with Shocks & Struts by Brandon Hunter
Great shock but needs a little modification to fit
I bought two of these and one came with a broken compression strap. This strap is designed to keep the shock in a compressed state for easy installation. Fortunately, this shock isn't too difficult to recompress. I also had to grind about 1/8" of the steel insert on the bottom bracket to fit the mounting bracket.
