Durable Truck Suspension Upgrade

Using this product, our team found that it significantly improved the handling and ride comfort of our truck. The shocks are durable and seem to hold up well under heavy loads. The only downside is that installation can be a bit tricky if you don't have experience with suspension work.

Pros
  • Excellent handling and stability on the road
Cons
  • Less suitable for vehicles with heavy payloads

I installed them and they started leaking inside.

I installed them and they started squeaking within the first month. I have checked to be 100% sure they are tight and will be replaced. Don't buy Monroe shocks.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...

Great shock but needs a little modification to fit

I bought two of these and one came with a broken compression strap. This strap is designed to keep the shock in a compressed state for easy installation. Fortunately, this shock isn't too difficult to recompress. I also had to grind about 1/8" of the steel insert on the bottom bracket to fit the mounting bracket.

Pros
  • Shock
Cons
  • Negative impression
