My chicks are in their teens now but I switched from local TSC organic starter chicks to this one shortly after realizing there was soy in the feed and they were wasting a lot of it. I don't mind soy, but I wouldn't want corn either (at least not until it's cold). Now they are in the food growing stage as well as a breeder from 9 weeks of age. They get grazing and plenty of sunlight, as well as a variety of herbs, plants, fruits, vegetables, HF and mealworms, probiotics, and vitamins/electrolytes. My chickens seem healthier than photos I've seen online of other people's chickens of the same age. I won't attribute it solely to the food, but it has a lot to do with the feed combined with what I grow and feed. I highly recommend this company, the feed is also excellent for fermentation. Buy 3 starter packs of 10lbs of feed, sand and grass mix if you are just starting out! Try it!
